Have you ever wanted to take your dog to a restaurant to enjoy a meal? Whether it’s for a special occasion, or just a treat, you can take your dog to Doggy Style Deli.

Located at 15131 Stony Plain Road, Doggy Style Deli is a brainchild of Gino Rodrigues and his wife LaRea. It is a full-service “dog restaurant” with such meals as “labsagna,” “shihtzu stew,” and “Chinese pug fried rice.” In addition, hey offer a variety of collars, leashes, and clothing for dogs.

“Our inspiration was to open a healthy food store for our furbabies,” says Gino. “We were tired of seeing stores selling junk food as treats and telling customers it was good for their furbabies.”

Doggy Style Deli opened in 2008 in the Stony Plain Road/Jasper Place area, although it was closed for two years due to a fire. Gino says that choosing the Jasper Place area to open the business was a purposeful decision. “We chose Jasper Place because it had a lot of families. We wanted a neighbourhood that we could grow with.”

Doggy Style Deli can host birthday parties for dogs, as well as provide take-out birthday cakes. There are also grooming services and raw dog food available for sale. For more information about Doggy Style Deli, visit doggystyledeli.com
